Money vs. Faith

Money: you work for it (most have to work very very hard for it), it pays your bills, buys your things, gets you places, keeps you in a place to live, maybe bails you out of jail, for some in dark situations people use it to buy their way outta being jumped, on and on and on…

Faith: you work for it( it requires very very hard work for all ( because the Devil never sleeps,) but there is no injustice in who can have it), even when you have NO money and you’ve tried EVERYTHING within your own ability to get a job, do some gigs, mow a lawn, sell some crafts, wash some cars, and if it still isn’t working, you better believe it… God will pay the bills of those that have Faith in Him( those that love him and are righteous to obey him), God will give his children what they NEED. And if they get off path, with prayer, ( and a great deal of Faith), God can help even those with a change of heart, to get out of dark situations for good.

Money: it’s paper, it’s tangible, you can touch it, see it, you know it’s there, you can carry it around like it’s your ticket to get you whatever you need, for some.

This may be why the Bible says you cannot serve two masters, one cannot ***serve*** money and God, they are completely opposite substances, one tangible, one not( Faith is something you cannot buy, either .)

**** serve meaning you earn money to pay your bills sure, Romans 13, and “pay Caesar’s things to Ceasar,” but at the end of the day if money isn’t there right away, don’t kill one another, God should be your God, not money. Just Pray. God is STILL THE ALMIGHTY, if he wanted to he could LET every bank on Earth blow up in ten minutes, if he knew that was something that should happen, HE COULD, then what use is money.

Faith: you cannot see, not feel, nor hold it in your hands, but it’s a powerful line of trust between you and God ,where you’ve witnessed the incredible things He can do before, and you’ve experienced your prayers answered at desperate times before, and you just KNOW that He is there watching over you, and there has never been a time where you’ve been let down. Even when you felt like: “Oh my gosh what am I gonna do, nothing is working, I’ve tried this, I’ve done that, we’re about to be homeless, and no one cares, what’s going on, this isn’t fair, etc, etc” Many without Faith will call miraculous answers to prayer, a coincidence or luck, but the truth is, God just helped you out because He loves you.

Pray… with your whole heart, not half hearted, not texting and praying, not attention diverted here in there, give him your full attention, your whole heart, and let trust set in and breathe. Then have patience, and repeat if you have to, and keep going, don’t give up. He knows what is ultimately best, ( if you’ve ever seen ‘Fairly Odd Parents’ from Nickelodeon, that kid, Timmy got everything he wished for from his fairy friends, butin the end he was always wishing he never made that wish, thank goodness we have God who knows what is best so that doesn’t happen,) he is looking down with a majestically glorious birds’ eye view, he sees EVERYTHING, and wants EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, to work together for good for EVERYONE that loves him.

Revelation 21:1-4 ESV /

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 ESV /

For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV /

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—

John 6:35-40 ESV

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. ..
