How did I come to get the inspiration for the content of this article you are about to read…through my own unintentional*** sin and foolish choices, ( basically lessons learned) but AT THE SAME TIME, having a heart that loves God with all of my every fiber and being. Romans 8:28: ‘All things work together for good for those who [truly] love God. ‘
To me, truly loving God means, wanting with all of my heart to obey God’s every commandment and to ace the tests that are thrown at me by the devil, and to conquer the trials from the enemy of evil like a warrior; Zechariah 4:6
Zechariah 4:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
not simply for my own blessing, and not even for my own salvation, but to prove Satan a liar, and to give God the love and praise HE deserves. God has been walked on, has had His innocent and pure Truth twisted, and spit at enough for all the loving kindness He’s ever done for humankind for generation after generation. God has been so patient, and all we as humans have ever done is seek to please ourselves with things nasty, selfish, horrible, and wrong, after God just keeps on helping us and blessing us so much.
I am willing to suffer for righteousness sake and for the sake of all the evil I’ve ever committed in my life, to let God use me as His light, for His praise and glory, and to help those I love around me see just how powerful and beyond loving God seriously is, to help set others free in knowing God..
Earth is only our temporary home, we are here to serve and not be served, paradise/ heaven will be our HOME to stay and finally find peace and rest.
God gives joy not just in the good times, but in the middle of the chaos..
God gives us patience, self control, and the fearlessness to be filled with honesty/ integrity in the midst of temptation…
I am a sinner, even when I am not trying to sin, we all are, I often fall even when not trying, I sometimes lose my temper, throw out a cuss word, call my husband a mean name, maybe spend too much time worrying about finances, don’t go to church when Im supposed to( today:/), forget that God is in control and worry too much, in general, on and on.(And for that God, forgive me where I’ve been a stumbling block to others,) but remember that is why we must point to Christ as our perfect example, not look to humans, us humans all fall, even when not trying because we were born sinners, marked with sin since the fall of Adam and Eve.
So getting to the actual content of the article for today:
We have all, to some exent, been ‘hurt,’ by others in our lives, either by things they’ve done, things they’ve said, or maybe things they failed to do( broken promises).
This ‘hurt,’ can cause us to put up a defense wall, also known as pride, that acts a fence meant to protect ourselves from more hurt, and as we continue to feel hurt by others, and that prideful wall has already been built up, and then suddenly the pride wall gets hurt too, that wall grows taller and taller into one really really tall proud tower where you may eventually start to look like rapunzel all the way up high hidden away, not talking to others, maybe even becoming a bit of an undomesticated hermit, building and building that tower until it gets sooo unstabley high and you crash straight down into a mess of destruction. “Pride always comes before a fall.”Proverbs 16:18
The only way to properly heal that hurt, is to let God naturally heal the hurt, by being HONEST. Honest about what happened in a dramatic or traumatic situation, looking at BOTH sides of a story, not simply looking to make a pity and biased version of a fallout that happened to make yourself appear to look good to others. God doesn’t really care if you look good to others, or about your reputation, if youre being dishonest, and evil hearted. God already knows the truth, He’s waiting for you to say it like it is, so He can bless you for having your heart in the right place.
If you do not forgive others, God will not forgive you. Youre on Satans territory when you’re too proud to be Honest, so Satan will have a hold on you, Satan was the proud father of the lie, the first to ever tell one, and now these lies have lead to death thru sin.
John 14:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 1 King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
Jesus is the truth. The only way to overcome Satan( father of the lie) is to be honest
Jesus = truth=
Innocent as a dove shrewd as a serpent
Whatever is pure, lovely, righteous
Jesus=word, Word= truth= God= love= 1st Cor 13:4-7…love doesnt blame, isnt proud, doesnt envy, doesnt boast, doesnt keep record of wrongs.
****Can you speak with love?
1st Cor 13:4-7, If you do not have love, then you do not have God, because God is love.
Goal: Set our hope in God at all times, Psalm 18:1, not in changing others as we would want or in our timing for our own reasons, not for having all our problems fixed when we think they should be fixed, not for getting blessings when we think we deserve this or that, and saying how come it has not come, but for patiently waiting on the Lord for his perfect timing and His answers, doing His will and what is good and pleasing to Him, till answers come. Isaiah 55
CHALLENge: look up at the sky and the clouds today, in appreciation for our creator.
