The consequence of sin unrepented of, is DEATH

Time and time again throughout history, humans, NEVER LEARN!

In day of Noah, of Moses, Sodom and Gomorrah, Joseph, in the day of the Israelites( God’s people themselves,) in the times of JESUS CHRIST himself, in the day of the Bubonic plague, the Spanish Flu, World War 1 and World War 2, people NEVER LEARN!

We deserved death from day one, our sin has caused the destruction and chaos, and sickness all around us, our own vicious, selfish, abuse of other humans, outright idiotic choices, and nasty filth ridden indulgence DESERVES DEATH!

And in the midst of disaster, the consequence of our sin, what do we do to ease the pain of our consequences ( coronavirus and economic chaos,)! SIN SOME MORE!! Drink, party, get down in the dirt behaving like pigs, rats, and roaches!

God is watching everything!

Will we be so sad as a human race as to stoop so low as to never once in HISTORY, get down on our knees and PRAY TO GOD! JUST FOR ONCE IN ALL HUMAN HISTORY!

CAN WE DO THINGS RIGHT!!

PRAY! Before death eats you alive!

Isaiah 58:9-12 New King James Version (NKJV)

Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.

“If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The [a]pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 If you extend your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the afflicted soul,
Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,
And your [b]darkness shall be as the noonday.
11 The Lord will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 Those from among you
Shall build the old waste places;
You shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach,
The Restorer of [c]Streets to Dwell In

Ezekiel 18 New International Version (NIV)

The One Who Sins Will Die

He follows my decrees
    and faithfully keeps my laws.
That man is righteous;
    he will surely live,
declares the Sovereign Lord.

10 “Suppose he has a violent son, who sheds blood or does any of these other things[a] 11 (though the father has done none of them):

“He eats at the mountain shrines.
He defiles his neighbor’s wife.
12 He oppresses the poor and needy.
He commits robbery.
He does not return what he took in pledge.
He looks to the idols.
He does detestable things.
13 He lends at interest and takes a profit.

Will such a man live? He will not! Because he has done all these detestable things, he is to be put to death; his blood will be on his own head.

Jeremiah 2:26-28 New King James Version (NKJV)

26 “As the thief is ashamed when he is found out,
So is the house of Israel ashamed;
They and their kings and their princes, and their priests and their prophets,
27 Saying to a tree, ‘You are my father,’
And to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’
For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face.
But in the time of their trouble
They will say, ‘Arise and save us.’
28 But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves?
Let them arise,
If they can save you in the time of your [a]trouble;
For according to the number of your cities
Are your gods, O Judah.

Isaiah 41:21-29

The Futility of Idols

21 “Present your case,” says the Lord.
“Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob.
22 “Let them bring forth and show us what will happen;
Let them show the former things, what they were,
That we may [f]consider them,
And know the latter end of them;
Or declare to us things to come.
23 Show the things that are to come hereafter,
That we may know that you are gods;
Yes, do good or do evil,
That we may be dismayed and see it together.
24 Indeed you are nothing,
And your work is nothing;
He who chooses you is an abomination.

25 “I have raised up one from the north,
And he shall come;
From the [g]rising of the sun he shall call on My name;
And he shall come against princes as though mortar,
As the potter treads clay.
26 Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know?
And former times, that we may say, ‘He is righteous’?
Surely there is no one who shows,
Surely there is no one who declares,
Surely there is no one who hears your words.
27 The first time I said to Zion,
‘Look, there they are!’
And I will give to Jerusalem one who brings good tidings.
28 For I looked, and there was no man;
I looked among them, but there was no counselor,
Who, when I asked of them, could answer a word.
29 Indeed they are all [h]worthless;
Their works are nothing;
Their molded images are wind and confusion.

Isaiah 56:1–2NKJV

Salvation for the Gentiles

56 Thus says the Lord:

“Keep justice, and do righteousness,

aFor My salvation is about to come,

And My righteousness to be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man who does this,

And the son of man who lays hold on it;

bWho keeps from defiling the Sabbath,

And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”
